South Padre Island, Texas. Lawyer (slash) Artist Charles Pugsley Fincher currently has three law cartoon projects on the Internet: Scribble-in-Law, Bitcher & Prickman and Off The Law. He also paints in oils and acrylics and has had work commissioned. Recently Fincher was commissioned to paint a fantasy illustration in acrylics of renowned constitutional scholar Erwin Chemerinsky as a Chicago Cubs shortstop.
The three current cartoon projects are done in Fincher's favorite style, spontaneous and loose. If you want to see some of Fincher's polished artwork, check out ScribbleStudios and also see some of his expressionistic paintings here.
Scribble-in-law is Fincher's legally eccentric, inside law cartoons. Don't expect conventional lawyer jokes here. These are law cartoons for lawyers.
Bitcher & Prickman is his law firm comic strip with edge. The partners are from the dark side of law.
Off The Law is off the wall. Law comic strips for non-linear lawyers.

Scribble Beach is a collection of defintiely off-the-wall coastal cartoons. You'll see evolved sharks running on the beach after creationist and conch shells hunting for their people collection. Strange stuff.
The Law Comix site began several years back with the Law Comix collection of legal cartoons from past projects by Fincher. Fincher's work has run in over 100 law-related publications in the U.S., Canada and New Zealand. Of the cartoon projects in the collection, Allison Wilder and Judge Gonzo have not been published and are seen publicly for the first time here. Courthouse Square ran in a small legal publication, and Motion Commotion was done for a fund-raising auction. The rest have been published.
For a furious two or so years, Fincher did The Illustrated Daily Scribble which won the People's Pick award for best Web political cartoon of 2006 at About.com. His former political strip Thadeus & Weez ran in the opinion sections of 15 daily print newspapers and three online papers at its peak. Both have ended.
Fincher owes the name Scribble-in-Law to his permanent girlfriend, Dana Allison of The Allison Law Firm, an accomplished trial lawyer. Fincher is of counsel to the firm.
